Sporting Activities Lined Up in UNIBEN For the Year 2017- See More Details!!

Seasons Greetings from the stables of the Director of sport Student Union government, University of Benin.

Trust the yuletide break is going according to plan?, in the spirit of celebration let us not forget to Exercise daily to keep our body and mind fit and healthy for the coming year. Moreso, using this opportunity to bring to you the Programmes lined up for the coming year.

1. University of Benin marathon race organized by the Dir. Of sport University of Benin.

2. Fidelity Bank staff-and-students-bond marathon/fitness jog

3. Uniben sport festival / freshers tournament which involves all sport for 70% freshers and 30% stay-lites.

4. Annual Inter_hostel competition

5. University of Benin sport Gala Night.. (Anticipate).

These and more are what awaits sport Lovers when you resume in 2017, But please note that it is not limited to the aforementioned programs above as corporate sponsors may come up with programs of their own in conjunction with the office.

We also want to use this medium to state that the Hall 2 car park fitness program that takes place 5 to 6 am every l
Tuesday and Thursday will continue immediately after resumption, we apologize for the break in activity, and promise to be better in organization when school resumes.

Also note that our Sport news/Digest through the ever effective and reliable medium  of Torch_news or Block_B FM as it is popularly known will also continue in 2017.  We promise to add an interactive session to it to make it fun and enjoyable.

In all, we appreciate you all and your contributions in cash, kind, effort even corrections and advise.. we are geared towards serving every uniben student better by engaging them in sports and organized activities

to bring about physical fitness and mental alertness that promotes positive health vibes.
