Another Robbery Incident Reported On UNIBEN Campus- Read Full Details!!

I was returning from night class this morning at the early hours of 5:30am(although na night crash sha). As usual I was trekking to main gate through computer science

department, as I approach the ICT-CENTER, I noticed that someone was running towards me from behind at a full pace (though I was a big terrified). When the person got closer, it happened to be a girl that was crying of being robbed of her phone by 2 boys with knives. She was asking if I saw any two boys( like say she wan beat them up).

Now let me stop here, in as much as Uniben has security men on duty every day and nights doesn't guarantee you safety from being robbed. It will be wise for an individual to take certain measures to ensure their safety.

1). Avoid walking alone at nights and early hours of the morning. if you must do, then do walk with something valuable to you.

2). Avoid dark and lonely corners and paths, except you're more than 2 or 3.

3). Always take note of your assailant's face, dress, and stature for identification purposes.

4). Always report all case of robbery to the security men, there are several security posts in the school, no matter how cheap or small your stolen property cost. Your report could save someone else.

ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT YOU HAVE TO ENSURE YOUR SAFETY FIRST BEFORE ANYONE CAN ASSIST YOU...
