JUST IN: Important Notice On UNIBEN Second Semester Resumption- Read full Details!!

Sequel to the confusion amongst the students of the University of Benin as to the resumption date and the continuous availability of buses to convey students to their

various destinations, the management of the University of Benin through the Registrar have come out to clear the air and make it known the students and entire public that the University of Benin have resumed since the 27th of March, 2017.
Here is an official statement from the Registrar.
"It has been been observed that many Faculties/Schools and Institutes are yet to display their time-table for o second semester lectures in respect to 2016/2017 academic session. Consequently, students are not properly guided as to when lectures will begin for second semester. For the avoidance of doubt, lectures began for second semester on the 27th of March, 2017.
You will recall that Senate in its emergency meeting for 3rd February adjusted the examination time table for 100 and 200 level who were expected to conclude their examination and resume without break while the approved 2016/2017 academic calendar remains.
In the light of the above, Provost, Deans, Directors and Head of Departments are requested to come out with their second semester lecture time table and ensure that all students are back to class for their lectures.
Please find the attached, the rescheduled 2016/2017 calendar for the rescheduled 100 and 200level first semester examination".
